A hand drawn design of the Cathedral of Learning, located in the heart of the University of Pittsburgh campus — created by Kirsten Lowe-Rebel.

8.5" x 11" Art Print

“Cathy,” the architectural landmark of Oakland, stands at 42 stories tall or 535 feet. Completed in 1934, University of Pittsburgh’s Cathedral of Learning is the fourth tallest educational building in the world—and the tallest in the Western Hemisphere! Anyone who enrolled, visited or worked at the University of Pittsburgh knows the limestone Gothic skyscraper to be remarkable inside and out.

This drawing is part of a series celebrating the historic landmarks of Oakland, PA and the University of Pittsburgh. Check out the companion prints of the Carnegie Museum, Heinz Chapel, and Phipps Conservatory.
